The Uganda Travel Planner offers only an outline to trekking in the Rwenzori. Those seriously considering the trek would be advised to do forward reading and purchase the Map and Guide to the Rwenzori published by East African and East European Mountain Guides. Contact details and ISBN is covered in the ‘Essential Reading and Maps’ document. This map and guide is sometimes available from bookshops in Kampala.
